Awaiting Cletus at Yates Mill — Raleigh Child Photographer
When I get to photograph maternity session with a woman who truly carries her baby as a bump, I marvel a bit, and then I (who carry mine more like a Michelin Man costume) try to live vicariously for an hour or so.
Here is what I learned: such women can climb rock walls and hop fences, and do so with remarkable good humor. You don’t even have to ask them. You can just be wondering out loud how you are going to get the horizon shot you’ve been planning when the only clear sky available is beyond a not insignificant retaining wall, and the next thing you know D is helping S up onto said wall.
I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you two (three), and I can’t wait to meet little Cletus! Thanks so much for the chance to photograph this exciting time in your lives.
